Bangkok | An Evening Stroll Around Banglamphu

Stepping out of our hotel and the exploring the quaint neighborhood of Banglamphu, during our first evening in Bangkok!

On our way to the Grand Palace we spotted Wat Chanasongkhram, and couldn’t resist stopping in for a look.

This traditional Thai shrine contains what is believed to be the original pillar erected by King Rama I in 1782.

No trip to Bangkok is complete without visiting the city’s most famous and lavish landmark, The Grand Palace!

After visiting the Grand Palace, take a short stroll over to Wat Pho to check out the majestic Reclining Buddha!

Checking out the touristy backpacker scene along Khao San Road is pretty much a must, especially during a first visit to Bangkok.
